Bacon Wrapped Shrimp with Kentucky Tavern Sauce

Bacon Wrapped Shrimp in Kentucky Tavern Sauce

("Kentucky Tavern Sauce," rich, dark and savory, is a Lilly's/La Pêche original creation, available in 16 oz. jars at both of our La Pêche locations. This recipe makes a delicious and simple hors d'oeuvre.)

12 slices bacon, cut in half
24 medium shrimp, peeled & deveined
Kentucky Tavern Sauce
toothpicks

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Cook bacon on a cookie sheet in the oven for about 8 minutes, or until it starts to slightly color and curl. Remove and cool.

Wrap each shrimp with a bacon half-slice, and secure with a toothpick. Arrange in a shallow baking pan. Drizzle Kentucky Tavern Sauce over the wrapped shrimp, and bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Bon appetit!
